ZeroZeroZero is an Italian crime drama television series created by Stefano Sollima based on the book of the same name, written by Roberto Saviano.
The series follows the troubled journey of a large shipment of cocaine from Monterrey, Mexico to Gioia Tauro, Italy. The sellers are the narcos brothers Enrique and Jacinto Leyra, who are aided in their criminal activities by Manuel Contreras and his group of corrupt soldiers.
ZeroZeroZero Season 1’s Recap:
Don Minu kills Curtega and saves Stefano’s wife and child after he kills Stefano and gets the shipment from Emma. Business flourishes again as the backstabbers and conspirators are now gone.
Don Minu has also established goodwill with Emma, which he also had with her father. Meanwhile, Emma arrives in Mexico to discover the bloodbath at Leyra’s place. She is taken to Manuel, who declares himself as the new boss. She gives him the money she owed to Leyra and continues with the business.
Manuel takes some time to ponder over his newfound power and business empire, with the entire city under his thumb, and Emma walks away with a smile on her face.
The Plot for Season 2:
A Russian subplot could be introduced given the specifics of Emma’s deal with Manuel. She needs 2,000 kilos of cocaine in three weeks, which means she’s immediately getting back to work and will have to figure out exactly who she’s dealing with in Monterrey.
In addition, the second installment will probably focus primarily on Russia, if only so that the storyline doesn’t seem too similar to Narcos: Mexico.
The cast of Season 2:
Most likely, we will see the main cast return in ZeroZeroZero Season 2.

Release Date of ZeroZeroZero Season 2:
ZeroZeroZero Season 2 is still not confirmed. Although, if the series is renewed, filming could commence later in 2020 or perhaps during early 2021. Given the scope of production and the talent involved, Amazon will most likely take long in releasing Season 2.
It’s indeed possible that ZeroZeroZero season 2 could release in 2021. However, it seems probable that ZeroZeroZero season 2 won’t release until 2022 on Amazon Prime.
