In case you want to test whether your application has adopted this feature or not, you simply have to play an audio file. While playing audio, if the playback speed option is available to you, then kudos! Your application is updated to the newest version. Currently, there are three playback speed options. They are – 1x, 1.5x, and 2x. However, this feature will take a little more time to reach more Beta users. And even more, time, to reach to people all across the globe. WhatsApp Privacy Policy Controversy
Recently, a month ago, WhatsApp was backlashed completely due to a new privacy policy. Rumors were spread that the app could now access all your data and share it on Facebook. However, the company denied all these claims and said that they were just updating policies. All the messages and data on WhatsApp are end-to-end encrypted. This means that data will remain between the sender and the receiver only. No third party will be involved in this process. Many users across the globe started uninstalling the application. Later on, when claims were removed, people have started to have faith in the app again.
