British period historical drama Victoria has received rave reviews from viewers and critics alike. The show has received praise for its striking stories and interesting characters. Victoria has gone on to garner a huge fanbase and now everyone is waiting for Victoria Season 4.
Victoria follows the story of Queen Victoria and her trials and tribulations. It starts from her ascension to the British throne at the age of eighteen and now she and her husband Prince Albert have reached their 30’s. Actress Jenna Coleman, who portrays the titular character shines as the lead.

Victoria Season 4: Release Date
Season 3 of Victoria was released on January 13, 2019. It’s been almost two years and PBS still hasn’t released any information on an upcoming season.
Regardless, the cast and crew have suggested that Victoria Season 4 may be on the plates. Writer Daisy Goodwin has informed that she is working on the fourth season. She added that Victoria Season 4 will be an “absolute humdinger”.
Goodwin also asserted that the series has a long way to go.
The series may have also suffered due to the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic. Looking at the schedule, PBS may release it sometime in 2021.
Who will be back?
Jenna Coleman has reportedly appeared for the final time as Queen Victoria in Season 3. As she will enter her 63-year old reign, Coleman has said that it is time for her to leave farewell to the show.
In an interview with RadioTimes, Coleman said that she knows there is going to come to a point where she has to be recast. “The idea I’ll be playing Victoria meeting Abdul is not possible,” she said.
Coleman has also named Emily Watson and Helena Bonham Carter as her favorites for the role.
PBS has not confirmed any information on cast replacement or new casting.

Victoria Season 4: Potential Plot
In the third season, we see the Chartist movement reach a whole new level in London. This drew Victoria to leave and go to Cornwall for a while. During her return, her estranged sister Feodora and her husband Prince Albert start wandering. This puts their marriage to the test.
Season 3 also sees a cholera outbreak gripping London. This also involves Lord Palmerston who tries his best to underestimate Victoria.
Goodwin has hinted that this season will be the darkest season till now. She also revealed that a major character may end up dying. Although, she hasn’t revealed who it is.
Season 4 is likely to be set in the year 1851 and its outset.
