The Resident Season 5 is finally coming to Fox in September. Based on Marty Makary’s book “Unaccountable”, the medical drama series gives us a sneak peek into the inside world of medicine. The story revolves around the lives of doctors and medical professionals at the Chastain Park Memorial Hospital. Within the darkness of the story, lies an intern named Devon Pravesh who works under a senior resident, Conrad Hawkins. However, as the plot moves forwards, Devon comes to know about Conrad’s real face. Let’s see what the upcoming season has in store for its fans.
Fox renewed The Resident Season 5 just the day before premiering season 4’s final episode. However, the show is not that good when it comes to medical dramas. But it is not that bad either. It has managed to maintain a good fanbase since its initial release. As far as the production is concerned, that has already started in July 2021.

It’s official. The Resident Season 5 is all set to premiere on September 21 at 8/7c on Fox. The streaming service renewed the show for a fifth just when season 4 ended. However, the production has started and the awaited show is finally making a comeback. The filming began in Atlanta and Georgia in July this year. Amy Jones, the show’s co-creator shared the commencement news with her fans on Instagram.

On the other hand, AJ is still furious at Cain and admits his mother to Atlanta General Hospital. However, Carol’s condition worsens but Cain saves her in the nick of the time. The operation is successful and Cain believes that Carol will walk again. We will see a spontaneous liaison between Leela and Devon in The Resident Season 5. Moreover, the show’s co-creator hinted that the fifth season will make some big revelations.
