Season three of The Order’s future was left floating in the air, but Chad Oakes said during a virtual [email protected] panel exec producer that “in the next few weeks” they expect to find out more about the future of the show.

Unfortunately, the great news did not come with Dennis Heaton, the creator of the show, executive producer, and writer. He announced on Twitter that the series will not return for a third season, paying respect to the people who have contributed to the series.

He wrote, “For two seasons I was honored to work with an incredible cast and crew on The Order for Netflix. It is one of the best experiences of my career. Unfortunately, we aren’t returning, but I will always cherish the memories and the props I stole. Thank you all for watching,”

Heaton further provided some hints as to what would have been in store if The Order had returned, revealing that Jack was going to raise Alyssa from the dead, but that she was “was going to come back wrong”.

But hope is still there! In early March 2019, Season 1 hit screens, with season 2 landing on June 19, so it’s still a pretty fresh property. The show’s loyal audience and the continued enthusiasm of the showrunner to carry on will imply that another platform picks it up down the road.

Plot

At the end of season two, certain big threads were left dangling, the described Alyssa and her fate is the primary one.

However, there are a lot of several other major questions that, once they happen, will need to be answered in season three. Vera is actually powerless, at least for now.

When Will The Trailer Arrive?

First of all, we need THE very important renewal. Expect a lot more to watch and hear if it gets with the go.
