The show is based on a book from the book of the same name by Chris Bohjalian. The Flight Attendant follows Cassie, an alcoholic flight attendant, who encounters a mysterious man named Alex, who sits on her flight in first class.

They hit it off immediately, and they went back to his hotel after having dinner together in Bangkok. However, Alex was brutally murdered when Cassie woke up, and Cassie has no memory of what happened the night before.

She had become a person of FBI interest immediately, but in the end, the killer of Alex was discovered to be Cassie’s boyfriend, Buckley/Felix (Colin Woodell). The series also concluded with some cliffhangers that set up a second outing for the show. For instance, Buckley/Felix killed Cassie’s co-worker Miranda (Michelle Gomez) and Megan (Rosie Perez) fled the country after plotting against her husband.

Shane (Griffin Matthews), Cassie’s co-worker who appeared to be a CIA agent, was killed by Buckley/Felix. After months of disruptions as a result of the ongoing coronavirus epidemic, the first series premiered in November 2020, and with the pandemic continuing to interrupt production on various shows, viewers will have to wait a little longer than anticipated.
