CEO Elon Musk stated on Thursday that Tesla will launch a humanoid robot prototype next year. These robots or bots will carry out those tasks that humans are not very fond of doing. It is specially designed for carrying out dangerous, boring, and monotonous tasks that people don’t like to do or refrain from doing.
However, this is not the first time that we are hearing of humanoid robots. Research and study on such electronic creatures are going on for a very long time. Moreover, science and technology have reached every possible corner of the earth. Therefore, such inventions are not shocking and surprising.

Elon Musk introduced the robot at the Tesla AI Day Event. Speaking about the humanoid bot, Musk said that it is five feet and eight inches tall. Besides that, the billionaire entrepreneur also said that the robot is designed to carry out all types of jobs. It can even fix a car bolt, pick up groceries from the store, and do all sorts of odd jobs. Moreover, it will have profound implications for the economy. Elon Musk also mentioned that he is not planning to make this robot a super-expensive one. He will try to keep it as affordable as he could.
Scrutiny over Tesla’s Self-Driving Mode
The Tesla AI Day event was held amid the scrutiny; over the electric automobile’s self-driving mode. Musk did not comment on the safety that the self-driving mode technology offers to the drivers. But he said that this option is better than having cameras and computers inside the cars. However, the US courts witnessed a few accidents related to this driver assistant mode in the electronic vehicle. Besides that, two US senators have called for a thorough investigation of this “self-driving” mode.
