Hence, Maharashtra leaders are in conversation with Tesla owner Elon Musk. According to the latest reports, Indians may have their hands on this luxurious car probably next year. The cars are known to have hassle-free driving with tons of amazing features like automatic parking. To people who never had a good hold on their parking skills, this is an amazing investment. The energy used is solar which is integrated renewable energy. This is what makes the expensive tag feel worthy in today’s climate change time.

Maharashtra is the leading state with ever-rising enormous opportunities in various sectors. The city of Mumbai is already termed as the financial hub by many. The state also has a concern about the environment and you hear news about the sustainable ventures related to Maharashtra. For example, the Chakan Industrial belt near Pune, which is the automobile hub. Hence, the leaders talking with the rising solution to automobile pollution and waste was a matter of time. The state has always aimed at attracting more people. This conversation, which happened virtually, opens doors to a new world.

Maharashtra has held the convo and allegedly, has asked the owner to invest in the state. The American think tan has expressed his willingness to sell his EVs in India. Aaditya Thackerey, State Tourism Minister, tweeted on Thursday, about the state’s mission and vision regarding Tesla. This makes it even clear that the flourishing automobile sector of the state will have a huge jump if Elon Musk decides to use the state as a new manufacturing hub for the country.
Focus on renewable energy and sustainable development
The venture of Tesla in India, according to Maharashtra, is mainly due to renewable energy usage and sustainable development purposes. Thackeray wrote, “I believe that electric mobility is the way ahead. Let’s hope we can help this thought become mainstream soon.”
Estimating the cost of establishing an EV center in India, Avendus Capital released a report in which an estimated cost is around Rs. 50,000 crore. However, India Ratings and Research in its report state that the pandemic may slow the release of electric vehicles in the country, just so soon. Also, the Maharashtra government can face extreme competition from other big states like Bengaluru. But, if the EV system launches in India, this will aid in making a strong electric mobility base in India for the coming decade.
