Moreover, he said in a recent statement, that face masks will become a matter of personal choice. He addressed the press conference with his future plans about COVID-19 protocols. Boris Johnson will curb all the restrictions and make it a matter of personal choice. People will decide what’s good and what’s bad for them. However, he clearly said that everyone will have to learn to live with COVID-19. Johnson said that COVID-19 is an enemy, that doesn’t vanquish easily. Although, people can wear or not wear face masks in the UK from July 19. Besides that, he also highlighted the fact that the Delta variant is quite serious. It has the potential to ruin everything that was sorted. People in the United Kingdom will celebrate July 19 as “Freedom Day”. After July 19, the COVID-19 protocols will become a matter of personal choice. Boris Johnson has decided to fully reopen the economy and curb all the restrictions. It is not necessary for the country’s citizens to wear face masks July 19 onwards. They can visit their favorite destinations, watch their favorite sports, go to concerts, etc. Moreover, the people will start learning to live with the virus. Johnson has also asked people to stay safe and careful. As the UK is moving towards its “Freedom Day”, experts have called the decision dangerous. Health experts in the UK have urged caution against such scrapping of measures. They pointed out that the Delta variant is dominating the country and everyone must stay safe. However, they have advised people to follow the COVID-19 protocols when they are in a crowded place. It is better to take precautions beforehand that to succumb to the deadly virus.
