Succession is a comedy-drama series, created by Jesse Armstrong.

The series focuses on the Roy family, owners of a global media, and hospitality empire- Waystar RoyCo. When their father Logan Roy falls ill, family members start fighting among themselves for the control of the company.

The story so Far:

The Roy family was spending a vacation on their Yacht and discussing who should take the blame for the Brightstar Cruises misconduct. Logan offers to take the fall for the misconduct, but others immediately retaliate, and after that several members suggest Tom’s name as he was responsible for overseeing the handling of relevant documents.

Later Shiv convinces Logan to not use Tom as the scapegoat. Logan approaches Kendall and persuades him to take the blame. Kendall accepts the offer as he felt guilty for the death of Andrew Dodds.

Logan then announces his choice at the dinner, and along with it, he appoints Roman as the sole COO of the company. The next morning, Kendall and Greg fly to New York for a press conference where Kendall says that he has been chosen to take the blame but suddenly retaliates from the statement and starts to blame Logan for the misconduct and states that Logan personally approved the legal settlements for covering up the misconduct. He informs that he has brought the documents that prove that his father is guilty, which Greg is holding in his hand.

The announcement shocks everyone except Logan, he begins to smile and the episode ends on a cliff-hanger.
