When will Sintonia Season 2 be released?

Sintonia Season 2 shooting is expected to begin in the first half of 2020, and new episodes are anticipated to debut on Netflix this year as well. Season 2 will be released with six episodes lasting 45 minutes. Unfortunately, we don’t have any latest updates about how far the team was able to film until the Coronavirus pandemic affected worldwide film and TV productions.

Cast: Who Is Going To Be There?

For season 2, the three main cast members are expected to reprise their roles. They are:

  • MC JottaPê as Doni
  • Christian Malheiros as Nando
  • Bruna Mascarenhas as Rita.

Plot: What Will Happen in Season 2 of Sintonia?

As they maneuver through life in a tumultuous favela in São Paulo, Brazil, Sintonia follows three young friends. The plot of the show is dynamically unfolded through the three friends’ perspectives.

Doni, Nando, and Rita welcomed us to Season 1 as they sought to fulfill their dreams in the midst of music, drugs, and religion.

Season 1 ended with Doni winning a recording deal for his late father following his moving live show. Nando joined the organization which as he continues a more dangerous lifestyle, is meant to give him more protection. Meanwhile, with her long-time relatives, Rita gets baptized and enjoys it.

A little sneak peek was offered by Director Konrad Dantas, aka Kondzilla, on what to expect for Season 2.

“We exceeded expectations in the first season. It was Netflix’s most popular Brazilian series in 2019, and our only challenge was to follow our hearts. In the second season, in addition to our love, we will also add the energy of the audience that felt represented on the series and is waiting for something even bigger”, Konrad revealed via Renew Cancel TV.
