When is Shadow and Bone Season 2 coming to Netflix? Based on Leigh Bardugo’s two series books, “Shadow and Bone” and “Six of Crows”, the fantasy drama first premiered in April this year. Netflix renewed Shadow and Bone Season 2 in June this year, two months after the first season’s premiere. However, since then, we haven’t heard anything about the fantasy drama. According to some sources, the casting has just begun for the show. There are several actors and actresses who have pitched for roles in the upcoming season. Henceforth, this means that there is quite some time left before the production. Producer Shawn Levy has hinted that they will commence the productions very soon. So far, there is no release date for Shadow and Bone Season 2. The filming for the first season began in October 2019 and went up to March 2020.
