Sanditon is a British historical drama television series adapted by Andrew Davies from an unfinished manuscript by Jane Austen.
The series’ first aired on ITV in the United Kingdom on 25 August 2019 in eight parts, and on PBS in the United States on 12 January 2020, which supports the production, as part of its Masterpiece anthology.
An Accident brings Charlotte Heywood to Sanditon, a seaside resort on the cusp of dramatic change. Spirited and unconventional, Charlotte is initially keen to experience everything the town has to offer but is then shocked by its scheming and ambitious inhabitants and intrigued by the secrets they share.

As it is more vital to know the Sanditon series is inspired by Jane Austen’s final novel, Sanditon. and, it is yet unfinished as like the story of season 1. Due to her illness, she led to her fate and resisted her to write the ending of the story.
Austen is all known for her legacy to be maintained in her novels. So, as familiar to that, the end will be as joyous as her other novels.
The plot of season 2 goes around the new life tracks of both the main lead couple who part their ways due to their families’ conspiracy.
Season 2’s Release Date
The shooting of Season 2 has not started due to a pandemic. We expect to get it to start by the end of 2020 by taking the crucial situation of COVID-19 and that.
So, it will all be set to premiere Sanditon season 2 in late 2021 or the beginning of 2022. Till then, we can’t expect the second season of this series to get air on any platform.
