Certainly, every country is hailing the production of Samsung TV Plus in its market. Initially, Samsung TV Plus made its debut in 2015. But it was only for limited countries. And now, the production is extending to almost twelve countries. Including over 742 channels in Australia, Austria, Canada, Brazil, France, Germany, Italy, Switzerland, Spain, Korea, the US, and the UK. Moreover, the benefits are higher for Samsung users as it delivers free-content to them. Thereby, it is manifest, that Samsung has a partnership agreement with around 300 broadcast networks.
Unlike other OTT platforms, this one doesn’t need any subscription request. Well, you can use Samsung Smart TV Plus services unobstructedly. Yet, there is no official launching date in India.
What was the reason behind the sudden expansion?
Regarding the recent thought, Seline Sangsook Han, Senior Vice President of the Visual Display Business at Samsung Electronics commented. “We have seen TV’s become the center of entertainment from being a source of news to streaming on-demand partner. So with our latest expansion into new markets and content line-up, we hope that TV Plus continues to be a premium at-home destination for Samsung Smart TV users all over the world.”
What are we can expect from Samsung TV Plus?
The service included a variety of channels such as ET Live, PeopleTV, Nick Pluto TV, CBSN, ABC News Live, Cheddar, and USA Today in the US. For entertainment, they include Kitchen Nightmares, Baywatch, and Wipeout Xtra.
But on the other hand, it is amorphous whether the services will be available for Galaxy phones in India or not.
