Renault Kiger SUV Launching in India

Having revealed the production-spec earlier this year, the Renault Kiger is all set to go on sale in India and is the newest addition to the subcompact SUV segment. The new offering is based on the CMF-A+ platform built under the Renault-Nissan alliance and the model shares several cycle parts with the new Nissan Magnite that’s received a warm reception since its launch.

Hopes then are high that Renault will be able to replicate its partner’s success with the Kiger and pricing will be the crucial aspect for the same.

The automobile manufacturer’s product portfolio, which currently includes the Renault Kwid, Renault Triber, and Renault Duster, will certainly get a major boost with the addition of the Renault Kiger. Now, this sub-4metre compact SUV looks very promising as it ticks all the right boxes on paper.

The Renault Kiger made its global debut on January 28, 2021. Not only has its mass production commenced at Renault India’s manufacturing facility in Oragadam, Chennai, its dealer dispatches have also started. In case you are planning to bring home the Kiger, here are some important details you should know about it.

Features and Specifications of the Renault Kiger

  • The Renault Kiger gets a twin-slat chrome grille flanked by tri-LED headlights and LED DRLs doubling up as indicators. At the rear, you will come across C-shaped taillights.
