The launch date for the Realme 8 5G has been set for April 21, according to the Chinese company’s social media account. The new Realme phone will replace the Realme 8, which was released in India last month. The smartphone is rumoured to have a gradient back finish, but no “Dare to Leap” branding. Recently, the 5G version of the Realme 8 was allegedly discovered on some certification pages. It is expected to debut in India, as well as other markets.
The launch date of the phone was revealed on the official Realme Thailand page on Facebook. A promotional video for the forthcoming Realme phone has also been shared on the company’s Facebook page.
More About Realme 8 5G:
The Realme 8 5G is shown in the video with a black gradient finish on the back. The phone doesn’t have the same “Dare to Leap” tagline as the Realme 8. However, some recently leaked photos have suggested the tagline on the back of the smartphone.
The Realme 8 5G, unlike its 4G counterpart, has a triple rear camera system with a 48-megapixel main sensor, according to the teaser video. The standard Realme 8 has a quad-camera system on the back, with a 64-megapixel main camera.
If the specifics of the phone indicated by its teaser video are combined with the information previously mentioned, it is most likely to be a rebranded Realme V13 5G, which was launched in China in the last month.
The Realme V13 5G also comes with a 48-megapixel main camera and a model without the company’s “Dare to Leap” slogan. According to a recent US FCC listing, the Realme 8 5G will have a 5,000mAh battery and weigh about 185 grammes, which is similar to the Realme V13 5G’s specifications.
Realme is also teasing the phone’s launch in India. However, it is unknown if the India launch will occur before the Thailand announcement on April 21.
Fans are eagerly waiting for their product to get launched and the craze is just touching the sky. Looking at the features, we can safely say that this is a bombarding device but we can only comment on the real scene once it gets launched.
