Now You See Me 3 is an upcoming franchise of the movie of the same name. The first movie premiered in 2013 and the second part in 2016. The wait is ongoing and might I add, is agonizing. With the popularity of the franchise and its capability to give the heist thriller genre a whole new breath, the third part becomes naturally on everyone’s bucket list. With the net income of the franchise more than $700 million at the box office, we expect the makers to give us the biggest cake ever.
The films revolve around the Four Horsemen. They are talented illusionists who do magic in an inexplicable glory. The best part is they make the corrupt naked.
Well, not literally, but you get the point.
The major changes in the third edition
We know that the directors for both the previous movies were different. However, looks like fans loved the first move’s director a little more. So, Louis Leterrier will again sit behind the scenes. The screenwriter for ‘Now You See Me 3’ is Eric Warren Singer. Him along with the story of Ed Solomon, we don’t know what to expect. The production money in the movie will have portions from Ed Solomon and Alex Kurtzman.
The director’s updates on Now You See Me 3
In an interview with Discussing Film, Director Louis Leterrier talked about his large projects like ‘The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance’. In the same interview, he did talk about this movie as well. He stated that he wants to bring practical effects even though the film revolves around magic. Leterrier said, “there’s something very organic about it having practical effects and having people behind stuff.”
He referred to this analogy with The Dark Crystal where he used his education from puppetry. So, that is what we will see in the new film. Hence, if you see some object flying, chances are someone had operated it.
The cast of Now You See Me 3
The movie will have The Four Horsemen. So, we will see Michael Caine, Daniel Radcliffe, Mark Ruffalo, Dave Franco, Lizzy Caplan, Woody Harrelson, and Jesse Eisenberg in their respective lead roles. We will see Benedict Cumberbatch in the role of a villain. We have not heard about any information on the plot. However, even the main actors don’t know anything. So, the film will most likely have a blast of a magical story.

The final film’s shooting has not started yet. The film does not have any finalized release date. The further delay is due to the COVID-19. Hence, we have waited four years, looks like we have to wait a little longer to ravish the taste of the finest film yet.
