However, the United Nation’s independent investigator for the country has acknowledged the situation and called it worrisome. The country has totally isolated itself and cut ties from the rest of the world to prevent the virus from entering their land. Besides that, children, youth, and senior citizens in the country are on the verge of starvation. This is the worst scenario a country can ever go through.

The livelihoods of the people of North Korea are badly collapsing. They are facing an extreme shortage of food and there is nothing the government can do about it. However, their leader, Kim Jong-Un is completely aware of the situation but he is not willing to loosen the restrictions implemented on international boundaries. The children as well as the adult population of the country are on the verge of starvation. A Spokesperson from the country addressed the situation at the General Assembly of the Human Rights Committee. Moreover, he also highlighted the range of hunger in political prison camps.
