Mukesh Ambani announced the Google-JioPhone Next on Thursday. He is launching this new smartphone in collaboration with Google. This smartphone will launch in India on the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi this year. Announcing the smartphone, the Chairman said that Jio has always brought the best and affordable for its customers. This smartphone too is the most affordable smartphone in the entire world. It will make India, “2G Mukt, 5G Yukt”.
Specifications and Features of JioPhone Next
The new JioPhone next is an Android smartphone in collaboration with Google. It will support all the features and applications of both Google and Jio. Mukesh Ambani further announced that it will have all the android apps in the Google Play Store. Google and Jio have built a joint operating system, and that is featured in this smartphone. It will suit the Indian market very well. Most importantly, it is super affordable.
It is packed with cutting-edge features like the voice assistant, automatic read-aloud screen text, translation, and much more. The phone will have amazing camera quality with several filters. Besides that, Mukesh Ambani also said that the phone will feature Google Cloud. Since it is in collaboration with Google, that was obvious. Google CEO, Sundar Pichai also joined the Jio AGM (Annual General Meeting) on Thursday.

Mukesh Ambani shared a glimpse of the new JioPhone next on the AGM. From the image, it is clear that the device has a full-screen display. The power and volume buttons are featured on the right side. Google invested Rs. 33,737 crores in Reliance Jio last year. Reliance Jio has over 425 million subscribers across the country. The company expects 200 million more people to join the community before 2021 ends.
