Money Heist is a Spanish heist crime drama television series created by Álex Pina. The series traces two long-prepared heists led by the Professor (Álvaro Morte), one on the Royal Mint of Spain, and one on the Bank of Spain.
A mysterious man known as “The Professor” recruits a group of eight people, who choose cities for code-names, to carry out an ambitious plan that involves entering the Royal Mint of Spain, and escaping with €2.4 billion. After taking 67 people as hostages inside the Mint, the team plans to remain inside for 11 days to print the money as they deal with elite police forces.
A Quick Recap of Money Heist Part 4:
Benjamín and Marseille construct a tunnel at a restaurant that leads to the parking garage of the Supreme Court, where Lisbon is brought to testify. Meanwhile, Sierra is fired and legal proceedings begin against her, she commences a pursuit of the Professor on her own.
She obtains security camera footage from outside the apartment building and watches footage of Antoñanzas being helped out of the pool by the Professor, as well as the license plate of his car from the parking lot.
The gang forces Gandía to radio Tamayo that he is in another attack and requests to be evacuated from the roof.
The Professor intercepts Tamayo’s request for a helicopter, and brings his own, acquired on the black market to deceptively transport a disguised Lisbon to the bank.
As Lisbon descends from the helicopter, the gang creates a ruse on the roof to create the impression that Gandía is fighting. Lisbon is reunited with the gang, and they chant “for Nairobi!” just as Sierra finds the Professor’s hideout, and holds him at gunpoint.
The Plot for Part 5:
Alex Pina in an interview confirmed that season 5 will effectively be an all-out war saying “the gang will now be pushed into irreversible situations, into a wild war. It is the most epic part of all the parts we’ve shot.”
The biggest challenge facing the gang is that The Professor is now the one who has been caught red-handed. With a gun to him, the series cuts to credits with a new rendition of Bella Caio.
The big question that will come if the team does manage to escape is whether they can keep their freedom, unlike last time of course. Is it even possible for them to live normal lives? After all, all their identities are out in the open.
