Microsoft has Launched Surface Pro 7 Plus

Microsoft has launched Microsoft Surface Pro 7 plus with 11th generation Intel processors and removable SSD feature.

The Microsoft Surface Pro 7 plus 2-in-1 laptop is an update to the current Surface Pro literation. The updated Surface Pro 7 plus is especially for business and enterprise users.

The new Surface Pro 7+ is equipped with Intel’s 11th generation Tiger Lake processors, and will come with Intel Core i3-1115G4, Core i5-1135G7, and core i7-1165G7.

Microsoft Surface Pro 7+ brings Intel’s latest 11th Gen processors, a bigger battery, removable SSD, and LTE connectivity to the new and refreshed device. It features a 12.3-inch PixelSense Display with a 2736 x 1824) resolution and comes with a single USB-C port, a USB-A port, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and the Surface Connect port.

The Intel Core i7-1165G7 is not the same i7-1185G7 model spotted in a previous Geekbench 5 benchmark leak, but still boasts an impressive base clock rate of 2.8 GHz and a Turbo Max frequency of 4.8 GHz.

Microsoft Surface Pro 7 Plus Features and Specifications

  • Surface Pro 7+ has the same 12.3-inch (2736 x 1824) PixelSense display.
  • The special feature of a new device is its removable SSD. Microsoft has included a replaceable M.2 2230 SSD, which is accessible in the same manner as on the Surface Pro X.
  • It has a battery of 50.4Wh. that offers 15 hours of use on a single charge.
  • It offers fast charging that allows you to recover around 80 percent of the battery capacity on a 10-minute charge. So, it is very handy when you are in a rush.
  • You will find dual cameras, with a 5 MP front camera and an 8 MP rear-facing lens, both of which support 1080p. The updated model also has stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support.
  • It also includes Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.0 and 4G LTE connectivity

The base model will cost $899. It comes with an Intel Core i3 processor, 8GB of RAM, and a 128GB SSD.

Microsoft will also sell a $1,149 model with LTE and eSIM support. This one includes a Core i5 processor, Iris Xe graphics, and increased memory and storage. Neither of these models includes a keyboard cover or Surface Pen.

Microsoft will start selling the Surface Pro 7 Plus starting January 15 in the US. The tablet will also hit retail shelves in Australia, New Zealand, Canada, and the UK, and several European countries.
