Via a digital event, Mi 11 was finally introduced internationally on Monday. With the Qualcomm Snapdragon, 888 SoC comes the Mi flagship smartphone that was released in China in late December. It also includes a design for a 2K display and hole-punch. Up to 256GB of inbuilt storage is also supported by Mi 11. On all four sides, it has sports curved edges. It comes with a range of features for the camera.

At their virtual case, Xiaomi also revealed the global launch of MIUI 12.5. The current layer is claimed to minimize device apps’ CPU use by 22% and their energy consumption by 15%. Starting in the second quarter of 2021, it will launch on models like the Mi 10T, Mi 10T Pro, Mi 10, Mi 10 Pro, and Mi 11.

The dual-SIM (Nano) Mi 11 is based on Android 10 with MIUI 12 (upgradable to MIUI 12.5) and features an AMOLED monitor. It is with 1,500 nits of maximum brightness and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus security with a 6.81-inch 2K WQHD+ (1,440×3,200 pixels). A 120Hz refresh rate and a display sampling rate of up to 480Hz are also provided on the monitor. The device has the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC under the hood, along with up to 8GB of LPDDR5 RAM.

A 5-megapixel ‘telemacro’ shooter is also included in the camera setup. A list of artificial intelligence (AI) features, including Magic Zoom, Parallel Universe, Time Freeze, and Freeze Frame, among others, are supported by the device. A 20-megapixel selfie camera sensor is also available with it on the front.

The Mi 11 has UFS 3.1 storage of up to 256GB. 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS/ A-GPS, NFC, Infrared (IR), and a USB Type-C port are networking options. An in-display fingerprint reader is included in the smartphone that also acts as a heart rate monitor.

Xiaomi has provided a 4,600mAh battery that facilitates wired and wireless charging for Mi TurboCharge 55W and 50W. The Mi 11 also includes support for 10W wireless reverse charging. In addition, the handset is 164.3×74.6×8.06mm and weighs 196 grams.
