Lost in Space Season 3 Renewal Status
Netflix renewed Lost in Space Season 3 in March 2020. Although the show has very few viewers, these few people have always remained true fans. They were desperately waiting for the streaming service to renew the science fiction series for a third season. Unfortunately, the upcoming season will also wrap up the entire series. With the third season, the whole series will come to an end.
Announcing the renewal, Netflix tweeted that the Robinson family saga is returning for a third and last time in December 2021. However, fans were not very pleased to hear this news but they were happy that the show will get a promising ending. Besides that, the showrunner, Zack Estrin also said in a statement that he always viewed the series as a trilogy. Therefore, he is quite happy that the series is getting the ending it deserved.

Although Netflix renewed Lost in Space Season 3 in March 2020, the release date announcement took an eternity to come. The science-fiction drama is all set to release in its entirety on Netflix on December 1, 2021. Netflix announced the release date alongside a short teaser. However, the show’s filming had to face a lot of delay due to the pandemic but they managed to commence it in September 2020. The first season was filmed in Vancouver and the second season was filmed in Iceland. Likewise, sources reveal that the productions for season 3 have already commenced in British Columbia and Canada.

In the final episode of season 2, we saw Judy, Will, and Penny escaping from the robot army. However, the second season left the audience on a major cliffhanger, with a Jupiter transport coming to carry children.
