‘Kiss Me First’ is a Britain cyber-thriller television drama that screens in the UK on Channel 4 and is globally available for Streaming on Netflix. Created by Bryan Elsley, co-creator of ‘Skins’, the series is a loose adaptation of the 2013 novel by Lottie Moggach, which is also named Kiss Me First.

It was announced in January 2016 that Netflix and affiliate E4 of Channel 4 were developing Moggach’s novel into a television show. The shooting for the show started in December 2016 and concluded in mid-2017, and London and a few places in Croatia have been included in the filming locations. Subsequently, on April 2, 2018, Season 1 premiered on Channel 4 in the UK, more than two years after its announcement. A few months later, the show was made fully available for the world on Netflix. Viewers of the series are now asking if ‘Kiss Me First’ will appear for a second season with Season 1 has ended. So far, here’s all we learned about it:

Kiss Me First Season 2 Plot:

The activities that take place in ‘Kiss Me First’ are partially based on the actual world and partly on the virtual space. As a consequence, half of the performance is live-action, although computer-generated the remaining of it.

As far as the story of the show goes, after her ailing mother dies, it follows 17-year-old Leila. Leila takes drugs to a huge multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG), which takes her to a virtual environment called Azana, incredibly lonely and with not much to look forward to in the real world. Leila assumes the identity of a superpowered superhero named Shadowfax in Azana, and her adventures in Azana help her get rid of the pain of her mother’s loss.

Release Date:

Although the Season 1 finale aired on May 7, 2018, and months down the line ever since the continuation of ‘Kiss Me First’ has not yet been confirmed by Netflix. There’s still hope for fans of the series, though.

Second, on a note that indicates a new season, Season 1 ends. Secondly, Melanie Stokes, executive producer, had previously said, “We’re hoping to make a returning series.” It would therefore seem that there are plans in place to make ‘Kiss Me First’ a second season.
