JioPhone Next will go live for sale on September 10 as the telecom company promised at the 44th Reliance Industries AGM. The upcoming smartphone was teased back in June. Mukesh Ambani teased the phone and announced a few of its specifications. The phone could have up to 3 GB RAM and will run the latest Android 11 version.
JioPhone Next to Launch on September 10
Mukesh Ambani launched the JioPhone Next smartphone at the 44th Reliance Industries AGM. While launching the smartphone, he hinted at a few of its specifications. Once again, the price of the upcoming smartphone has surfaced online along with some more features and specifications. In partnership with Google, the phone is rumored as the cheapest 5G phone in India. According to the sources, the sale for this smartphone will go live on September 10. The phone will feature Android 11 and is supposed to sport a 5.5-inch LED display.
What is the Expected Price?
The Jiophone Next is rumored to cost INR 3,499. It is also said that the sale will go live on September 10, 2021. Quite some time ago, another leak suggested that buyers will get this smartphone under $50, that is Rs. 3,499. Henceforth, we are assuming that the starting price for this smartphone is under Rs. 4000. Although, Reliance Industries hasn’t specified the exact price for the smartphone. But several leaks on social media suggest that this phone will launch within Rs. 4000.
JioPhone Next Specifications and Features
The new Jiophone Next smartphone will feature the latest Android 11 Go edition. It will sport a 5.5-inch LED display and is supposed to have either 2GB or 3 GB RAM. Besides that, it can have at least 16 or 32GB of eMMC 4.5 internal storage. As far as the camera is concerned, it might have 13 megapixels back camera and an 8 megapixels front camera for selfies and video calls.
Moreover, it will have a dual sim facility and will also support 4G VoLTE. The phone is expected to have a battery backup of 2,500 mAh. Some other leaks suggest that the phone will come with Bluetooth connectivity version 4.2. Besides that, it will also have a 1080p video recording feature and GPS connectivity. Users will also get a pre-installed Duo Go and Google Camera Go.
