Jane the Virgin is a romantic comedy-drama and satirical telenovela developed by Jennie Snyder Urman. It is a loose adaptation of the Venezuelan telenovela Juana la Virgen created by Perla Farías.

The series premiered on October 13, 2014, on The CW and concluded on July 31, 2019.

The series focuses on Jane Gloriana Villanueva is a young Venezuelan-American woman. She has taken a vow to save her virginity until marriage.

But her vow is later threatened when a doctor mistakenly artificially inseminates her during a check-up.

the biological father is a married man, who is not only the new owner of the hotel where Jane works but was also her former teenage crush.

A recap of Jane the Virgin Season 5:

Jane works non-stop on rewriting the ending of her book, just before the marriage. Meanwhile, Xo agrees to move to New York City with Rogelio.

Raf is arrested, and Jane spends all her book advance money to hire an entire bus to go bail him out.

The guests are still waiting for the wedding party to show up then, JR shows up. She and Petra embrace and declare their love for each other, then JR stays for the ceremony.

After the wedding, Jane tells Raf the ending of her book: it’s made into a telenovela.

The release date of Season 6:

Jane the Virgin dig its own grave on season 5 and because they knew that season 5 is the last outing for the series.

It was able to wrap-up its biggest and most important plotlines by the time of its series finale, allowing a sense of closure for fans. This leaves fewer hopes for season 6.

Even though all odds are against the 6th season of Jane the Virgin, CW plans to reboot the series and give the makers one last chance.

Though, there hasn’t been any official news regarding the renewal of the series.

But the possibility of Jane the Virgin Season 6 is there.
