Moreover, he emphasized the importance of yoga and meditation in day-to-day life.

Addressing the 7th International Yoga Day, PM Modi launched the M-Yoga application in collaboration with the WHO. The World Health Organization and called this app an important step for the world in the COVID-19 pandemic. India and the rest of the world are now going to get the power of the M-Yoga app.

PM Modi launched the application on Monday. The app has several videos and yoga programs from a beginner to pro level.  Moreover, it is available in various languages spoken across the globe. It has very basic and common yoga protocols that every individual can understand. PM Modi said that the app will help in making the “One World, One Health” motto, fruitful.

In his speech, PM Modi said that India hasn’t conducted any public events for the past one and a half years. However, the enthusiasm for International Yoga Day hasn’t diminished within people. For other countries, this day is just another historical event in the calendar. But for Indians, International Yoga Day is all about traditions and customs. We have an old-age history related to this day. People in other countries might have forgotten about this day. But, in India, the enthusiasm got doubled-up.

Yoga is very effective for a person affected with the Coronavirus. Besides that, it can help that person gain his strength back. This International Yoga Day was celebrated globally. Moreover, people participated in various events, both online and manual.
