Netflix’s Hilda is one of the best-animated series the streaming giant has to offer. Even though the show is aimed at kids, it has garnered a massive audience due to its unique style and gorgeous animation. Luke Pearson, the creator of the show, also wrote the graphic novels the show is based on. Fans are eager to go on new adventures in Hilda Season 2.
Hilda follows the adventures of its titular character as she embarks on several adventures with her friends. The show explores her friendship with several mysterious creatures and spirits living in and around the city of Trolberg. Even though the show is aimed at a younger audience, the show caters to every age group with brilliant storytelling and lovable characters.

Hilda Season 2: Release Date
Fans would be delighted to know that Hilda is indeed coming back for another season.
Netflix announced the renewal back in October 2018 after the show premiered its first season.

The world premiere of Hilda Season 2 took place at the New York Children’s Film Festival on February 23, 2020.
It is CONFIRMED, Season 2 will premiere on Netflix in December 2020!

On October 12, the show’s Twitter handle posted an official release date for Hilda Season 2. The show will come back to Netflix in December 2020. So yeah, just a month away for a whole new set of adventures.
For now, we do know the titles of the first three episodes. They are:
- The Troll Circle
- The Witch Part 1
- The Witch Part 2
Going by the names of the second and third episode, it looks like a two-part episode. We have to wait just few more days to find out.
The creators have also confirmed a movie episode of 70 minutes. The details on the movie hasn’t been revealed yet but it is indeed happening according to a press release.

In the lead, we have Bella Ramsey who voices Hilda. Ramsey is famously known for her work as Lyanna Mormont in Game of Thrones. She first appears in Season 8 and stole the show with her outstanding work. She is also part of another HBO show His Dark Materials.

Hilda Season 2: Potential Plot
Till now, there isn’t any news on the story of Hilda Season 2. We do expect to see a few characters that the creators are teasing on Twitter.
During the New York Comic-Con, the creators and the cast sat down on a panel to discuss the new season. In the panel, the cast and crew expressed their excitement for the new season. Lynn Ramsey said that Hilda Season 2 would be ambitious. Furthermore, head-writer Stephanie Simpson described the latest season as “traumatic but such is life as an adventurer.”
