Netflix renewed Emily in Paris Season 2 in November 2020. The streaming service shared a letter from Savoir, the company where Emily used to work in Paris. However, the letter was designated to Emily by her boss, Sylvie. It said that they are extending Emily’s time in Paris so that she can explore the city even further. Besides that, she will make new relationships, learn French culture, and make us all laugh throughout the time she spends there.
What is the Production Status?
In May 2021, Lily Cooper aka Emily announced that the shooting for Emily Season 2 has started. Just like all other shows, the COVID-19 pandemic affected the production of this comedy-drama as well. However, after several ifs and buts, the shooting finally began in May. And three months later, in August, we learned that they have wrapped up the filming. Henceforth, this means that the show is in its post-production state. A few more formalities and we will have a brand-new season of the popular Netflix series.
