The Bermuda Chamber of Commerce will be hosting a Retirement Planning Educational Breakfast Seminar in its boardroom, on Thursday October 27, from 8.00 a.m. until 10.00 a.m. The seminar will feature three discussion panels on the topics of Health & Wellness, Financial Management and Personal Development.
Kendaree Burgess, Executive Director at the Bermuda Chamber of Commerce stated, “With Bermuda’s aging population we thought it most appropriate to shed light on the topic of retirement. People should take active steps to secure a comfortable future, the first being to assess needs and resources available.”Keeping with this, we are delighted that representatives from the Bermuda Heart Foundation, BF&M, The Johns Hopkins Hospital, Butterfield Bank, Sunshine Healing and the Olderhood Group will be on-hand to discuss issues surrounding the transition from the workplace to retirement.”
Bill Storie, CEO of the Olderhood Group added, “The sessions will be moderated by members of the Olderhood Group Team. Most people plan more for a two-week vacation than they do for their retirement life; we will be addressing all of the issues that people neglect to consider when they think about retirement planning.”
