The story so far and potential plot for Blood of Zeus Season 2
The first season of Blood of Zeus ends with an epic battle between the Gods and the Giants. We see Zeus sacrifice himself to save Hera from the giants. Heron also has a climactic battle with Seraphim where he finally uses the same powers as Zeus to defeat his half-brother.
With his ascension to Mount Olympus and the power of Zeus at his command, we could see the other gods turn to Heron to become their new leader. That also doesn’t mean that Zeus and Hera won’t be back soon. Given their immortal and godly status as in Greek Mythology, they are surely going to be back.
But the biggest reveal was Hades’ appearance at the end of the season finale. We see Seraphim wake up on the river Styx. The phantom ferryman carries him to the underworld. Hades appears and credits Seraphim for using his bident. Hades assured Seraphim that he could help him in one condition. Seraphim has to kneel before Hades.
In an interview with Inverse, the creators have said that the finale of Season 1 serves as a set-up for the next season. He also added that they have a 20-page outline for Blood of Zeus Season 2 and it would focus on the story of Zeus, Hades, and Poseidon.
