Big Mouth is one of Netflix’s most outrageously funny shows to come out. It’s entertaining, over-the-top, and somehow, even surprisingly educational. The show has also become massively popular and is counted among the top adult animated TV shows along with Bojack Horseman and Rick and Morty. Fans can hardly wait for Big Mouth Season 4.
Big Mouth follows our two protagonists, Nick and Andrew, and their bunch of friends who are living their adolescent lives as they struggle through puberty, masturbation, and sexual angels. What follows is an outrageous and hilarious coming-of-age comedy about the struggles of growing up. The show often breaks the fourth wall and mixes comedy with heartfelt drama at the same time.
So when is Big Mouth Season 4 coming? Keep reading to find out.

According to reports, Big Mouth Season 4 was supposed to be released in late 2020. However, in the wake of the Coronavirus pandemic, that may well be pushed to 2021. Apart from the Season 3 premiere episode, the show has mostly premiered in September or October.
As of now, Netflix has not released any official release date. But at least we can safely assume for Big Mouth to come back at least three more times.
Who will be back?
Most of the original cast is scheduled to come back for Big Mouth Season 4.
The latest season will also see a notable change of cast. Jenny Slate, who voiced the adorable and nerdy Nathan Fillion loving Missy would leave the show this season. In wake of the Goerge Floyd protests, Slate took to Instagram to express her feelings.
She said, “Missy is also Black, and Black characters on an aminated show should be played by Black people. I acknowledge how my original reasoning was flawed, that it existed as an example of white privilege and unjust allowances made within a system of societal white supremacy.”
Kroll along with the show’s co-creator Andrew Goldberg, Mark Levin, and Jennifer Flackett, also took to Twitter and announced that they have decided along with Slate that Missy on Big Mouth should be voiced by a Black actor.

Big Mouth Season 4: Potential Plot
Season 3 left a lot of cliffhangers. After the incredible third season finale, we can expect the show to go crazier in the next one.
Season 3 saw the end of Andrew and Nick’s friendship. Up until now, their friendship was the most important aspect of the show, and how both of them helped each other grow up and help each other’s struggles. At the end of Season 3, Nick and Andrew become enemies over their mutual feelings for Missy. Andrew, who sees them kissing in the penultimate episode. In the final episode, both of them develop superpowers and spar with each other (or in Caleb’s head, at least). Andrew goes on to end their friendship. Nick too breaks up with Missy, breaking her heart.
Season 3 also introduced a new hormone monster. Mona, voiced by Thandie Newton, will be the second female hormone monster in the show and it will be interesting to see her helping Missy through her puberty as well as her interaction with Maury and Connie in Big Mouth Season 4.
