Bhaag Beanie Bhaag, produced by Ravi Patel and Neel Shah, premiered on Netflix in December 2020. This is a story about Beanie Bhatnagar, a perfect daughter, friend, and girlfriend. Although she has everything going well for her, she knows that with her life she is not really happy. Beanie makes life-changing choices in the midst of a lot of cynicism and self-doubt that fuels her dream of becoming a stand-up comedian.
Fans of the Amazon series,’ The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel,’ may begin to draw comparisons between the two shows’ storylines. They are very different, though, according to the cast and writers. This show deals with India’s world of stand-up comedians, who have been some of the most important individuals to gain celebrity status. Fans will wonder if Beanie’s story is going to continue in season 2 after binge-watching season 1. What we know is here!
Bhaag Beanie Bhaag Season 2: Release Date
Season 1 of ‘Bhaag Beanie Bhaag’ premiered on Netflix in its entirety on December 4, 2020. Six episodes of approximately 26-32 minutes each make up the first season.
As far as the second season is concerned, no news remains as to whether or not it has been renewed for a second episode. While the first season ends on a definitive note, in another season, there are other areas where the writers will explore. If season 1 on the streaming platform performs well, we can expect season 2 of ‘Bhaag Beanie Bhaag’ to be published sometime in 2022.
Cast:
Swara Bhaskar, who plays Beanie Bhatnagar, helmed the cast of the series. Beanie’s parents, Vasant and Shruti, who are well-meaning individuals and have Beanie’s best interest at heart, play Girish Kulkarni and Mona Ambegaonkar. The role of Arun Kalra, Beanie’s boyfriend turned fiance, is played by Varun Thakur. He’s ready to marry her and start a family, but he finally gets dumped. Kapi (Dolly Singh) is Beanie’s best friend who, thick and thin, stands by her.
Her mentor, Ravi Patel, who appears as himself in the series, is one of the key individuals in Beanie’s life. If there is another season, along with some fresh faces and a few potential exceptions, we could see most of these actors returning to play their respective roles. In season 2, we may not see Ravi’s character, but if we do, it may be in a restricted capacity.
Plot:
With a little support from her friend Kapi and L.A., Beanie Bhatnagar manages to kickstart her dream of being a stand-up comic. Ravi Patel, a comedian. Beanie has lived by laws all her life, but it makes her learn new things about herself and her life as she moves into those unchartered areas, which she translates into her comedic acts.
If there is a season 2, as Vasant is obviously in shock, it will investigate what becomes of the decisions.
