Why is this Caused?

Usually, Aspergillosis is observed in COVID-19 recovered patients. They are developing due to excessive use of steroids. Patients with compromised immunity are at high risk. The non-sterile water used for hydrating oxygen supply is also responsible for its occurrence. However, doctors and experts believe that the use of steroids is a prominent reason. The continuous use of steroids leads to this disease. Professionals are warned not to overuse steroids. On the other hand, they are asked to keep it as minimal as possible.

What Exactly is Aspergillosis?

According to the CDC, Aspergillosis is a fungal infection. CDC stands for Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Aspergillus, a common mould causes this fungal infection. This infection lives indoors and outdoors. Most people inhale the spores every day without getting sick. But those with weak immune systems, contract it easily. Moreover, people with lung issues are also vulnerable to the disease. The fungal infection causes allergic reactions in an individual’s body. Besides that, it also causes infections in the lungs and other body parts.
