His supporters on social media began wishing him a speedy recovery almost instantly. The actor was busy filming his upcoming film Mayday, which also stars Ajay Devgn and Rakul Preet Singh. Big B revealed his involvement with the Ajay Devgn-directed film last year, and he has been actively sharing updates from the Mumbai setting.
In July of last year, Abhishek Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, and Big B’s 9-year-old granddaughter revealed that they had contracted COVID-19. The family was admitted to Nanavati Hospital in Mumbai and remained there until they recovered. Throughout his time in the hospital, Amitabh Bachchan thanked his EF on a regular basis.
He thanked well-wishers for their constant prayers and encouragement at the time. “I have tested COVID -[ve], have been discharged. I am back home in solitary quarantine. The grace of the Almighty, blessings of Ma Babuji, prayers, duas of near and dear and friends fans EF and the excellent care and nursing at Nanavati made it possible for me to see this,” Mr. Amitabh Bachchan had posted on Twitter.
