Eighteen-year-old Micah Pond is one of the youngest members of the Bermuda National Netball team. A member of local club team, Storm, Micah plays in the Wing Defence position.

Micah, also known for her skills on the football pitch, says she loves playing netball because she enjoys the competition.

She shares her dreams for how she hopes to impact the sport: “I want to show the younger players that no matter what you do in life, try your best to find some type of enjoyment and leave a positive legacy.”

Micah also has big dreams for her future: “Upon my anticipated graduation from college I would like to work in the K-9 unit at either the prison or for customs.”

The Bermuda Netball Association salutes Micah Pond.
