We paid to have more cameras on our streets, We paid to increase our police force, modernize and update their vehicles. We paid MPs to debate for increases penalties to deter the criminal mind.Report
We paid for reports on the black males, education and more.
Yet, the money has not stopped the the gun warfare, killings, the grief and fears of parents of black sons.
The money has not made a difference and until we stop throwing temporary band aids to our problems; the madness will continue.
My heart feels for this and our most recent tragedy of a young life, another Bermudian, a black male, another traumatised family.
