There are only a handful of promotors who can bring Bodyguard and Stone Love together to play at a party, and Norman Godfrey of MagnumForce Sound is one of them.
Also known in the entertainment world as Fadda Maggie, Mr. Godfrey shares how he able to have both veteran sounds play alongside each other—not clashing—at tonight’s Winter Wonderland at the CedarBridge Academy Cafetorium.
“I consider both to be my family,” he tells Today In Bermuda. “I know that this is something that they rarely do, but this is the third time they are doing it in Bermuda. These are two legacy sounds; they are Bermuda’s favorites, whether they clash or play together. Stone Love is number one in the world. Very rarely do they play together and when they do it always a good time.”
And all revelers will have a good time tonight, Mr. Godfrey says: “It’s going to be a party vibe. The dress code is elegant and all of Stone Love and Bodyguard’s anthems will be played. It’s going to be a lot of fun. Come out, dress up and dance off that turkey and ham.
“Security will be top notch. Everyone will love it as CedarBridge is a beautiful venue.”
Mr. Godfrey adds that the party will have a twist as instead of local artists warming up the crowd, Stone Love and Bodyguard will instead, along with closing out the party.
“We are asking people to come early. Some may not have experienced anything like this…this will be different.”
Admission to tonight’s party is $35. Other featured entertainers will be One Life Sound, DJ Markie T, DJ Jada and of course, Magnum Force Sound.
