This world is getting progressively darker. Last week, there was a headline of a shooter who went onto an Oregon campus and systematically shot to death nine people, specifically those who confessed to being Christians.
Do not take that lightly. Understand that while in America there is a proliferation of guns and, therefore, a proliferation of darkness, that same spirit is right here on our lovely island of Bermuda. After all, Bermuda looks to their neighbors on the east coast and beyond the east coast to model the laws of the land and lifestyles of the people.
This world is dark and getting darker. This week the top stories have been about Russian air strikes in Syria and a Kunduz hospital in Afghan that was bombed with nine patients killed. In Kunduz, there is yet a battle between the Taliban and Government forces.
The world will continue to become darker as the freedom of choice allows the world to choose to remove God from institutions of higher learning and places of justice. Indeed many are openly seeking to replace the worship of God with devil worship.
The world will continue to grow even darker as the freedom of choice allows people to use US Government funds to back Planned Parenthood, which is actually thriving financially. They are selling aborted babies’ body parts and in many cases they are keeping the babies, which are born alive, in order to harvest its body part so they can get the best price and most healthy tissue.
The world is getting darker.
I put it to you today that as long as you push out Jesus, the Light of the World, the world has no choice but to become darker. The more you seek to live against or contrary to The Word of God, the world will respond by getting darker. It is automatic. You do not have to want it to happen or even think about it; in essence it is a natural response to what is going on.
That is why I beseech you NOT to forget Jesus. No, you must always remember Jesus. Always keep Him on your heart and on your mind. The only way to combat or fight against the darkness is to give way to The Light. Jesus is the Light, the Light of the world.
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
1 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.
2 And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.
3 And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.
Please understand. Jesus did not merely show up in the New Testament; He was already in the beginning. Jesus was there at Creation; He was there when everything was dark and empty.
Because Jesus is the Word, He did what words have the power to do. Jesus spoke, and what He spoke was manifest. What Jesus spoke appeared.
What did Jesus speak? Jesus, the Word, spoke forth light and light appeared. Jesus, a part of the Triune Godhead, spoke who He is into existence. Since Jesus is the light of the world, Jesus spoke who He was and who He was showed up.
Light showed up and dispelled darkness. Why is that good to know? It is good to know because you are going to have very dark moments. You are going to experience dark and empty situations. Yet, you must become bold enough to speak Jesus into your situation. You must speak light and life into that situation.
Do not speak your own words. Speak the words of Jesus and you will experience a life-changing moment.
Jesus will light up your life because Jesus is the Light of the world. Blessings Abound!

There is an absolute need for pastors and bishops to stand in truth and righteousness against every wind of doctrine that is preached from pulpits that are enabling the folk in church to submit and comply with the enemy's initial intent to keep folk blind to the truth!!! I'm from the world and it took many years of praying to GOD to deliver me safely from the hypocrisy I'd been experiencing in various sanctuaries throughout my search for a pastor who understands that in Christ there is absolutely no compromising truth to suit the worlds standards where-by they have no fear of proving it as they stand, even when fearful shepherds and bishops won't!!! I thank GOD for this BOLD and COURAGEOUS woman of GOD iNDEED!! May GOD continue to guide and bless you PASTOR SEAMAN as you continue to guide GODS SHEEP into the path of righteousness by example!!! BLESSINGS ABOUND!!!Report
