So I was never really into soca. If it came on in the club I would dance to it, but if the music hadn’t changed within ten minutes, off to find a chair I went. But as time has passed, I’ve become hooked. Last year, I didn’t play mas at BHW, but instead I attended as a spectator. This year I was a participant and while I had a good time I was still like, “Meh.”
