We live in a world that is set to establish double standards. What used to be wrong, the world desires to be right so that all will live comfortably where they are.
The status quo runs from change. The status quo is determined to hold on to what used to be or what is, no matter what. That which has always been desires to remain, while change is pressing upon the doors to open up a new way.
Jesus was indeed a revolutionary. He was constantly demonstrating that He had come to initiate great reform and that things would not be as they had always been. Jesus lived to disturb the status quo. That is why, no matter where Jesus ministered, there were those who were unhappy with Him.
