Ptix officially launch its AI chat bot today in the Washington Mall with Pypestream. Combining Pypestream’s advanced messaging platform with Microsoft Azure’s cloud technology brings messaging and AI-powered conversational flows to the events and entertainment industry in Bermuda.
Pypestream, the NYC-based company successfully soft-launched with Ptix in June for the America’s Cup. As part of the project, the Ptix chat bot was deployed to handle customer ticketing requests in lieu of live agents.
Ptix.bm users can chat with the bot or live agents by clicking the purple speech bubble button on our site or through the Pypestream app, or stop by The Washington Mall between 11.30 a.m. and 2.00 p.m. for a demonstration and to enter our competition to name the Ptix chat bot.
The combination of Pypestream, Microsoft and Premier Tickets will help people purchase tickets and access information about any of its listed events, anytime, anywhere. All transactions and content are shared directly within the secure messaging channel, making it easy and safe for event-goers to share information and process payments. By making tickets and event information easily accessible through messaging, Ptix and Pypestream are bringing the on- demand economy to events and entertainment.
“Our end-to-end messaging and AI solution creates a secure and scalable conversational experience for enterprises and their customers,” said Pypestream founder and CEO Richard Smullen. “The future standard user interface (UI) is based on conversations and simple, guided flows. It’s time to bring this technology to the enterprise and allow them to join the on-demand economy in serving their customers.”
“Pypestream benefits from Microsoft Azure’s wide range of advanced cloud services to create innovative solutions that help move the on-demand economy forward,” said Nicole Herskowitz, senior director of product marketing, Azure at Microsoft Corp. “We are pleased to see Pypestream choose Microsoft Azure, to create AI-powered solutions that better serve its customers’ needs.”
“The combination of Pypestream with Microsoft Azure will allow us to deliver the ultimate ticketing and reservation experience to our customers,” adds Premier Tickets founder, Michael W. Branco. “Now, they will be able to instantly book and pay for tickets through messaging by engaging in a process that’s intuitive, fast, and secure.”
